The ULpeg aluminium is an 8g tent peg machined from 7A04 aluminium alloy — a high-grade aerospace-spec material chosen for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. The curved Y-profile distributes load across three fins, giving you the hold of a much heavier peg at a fraction of the weight.
 
The same Y-beam design is used in the popular MSR Groundhog — we've taken that proven shape and pushed the spec further with 7A04 alloy, removing every gram that isn't doing a job.
 
At 15cm long, it handles everything from soft forest soil to compacted trail ground. No pull cord — because you don't need one. Use a guyline loop to hook it out when buried deep, or pick up our ULguyline cord as a dedicated extractor line.
